I graduated in 1995 with a PhD from UCL Laws. I applied to study at UCL due to its excellent reputation and location, and found the University to be vibrant with a cosmopolitan character.
Since graduating, my roles have included being a lawyer and an Adviser to the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights.
I am now Deputy to the Director and Head of Division at the Office of the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights . The Commissioner is an institution aimed at promoting education in, awareness of and respect for human rights, as embodied in the human rights instruments of the Council of Europe.
