Sarah is a public health researcher who joined the UCL Centre for Access to Justice in September 2016. She has a strong interest in social inequalities and the improvement of public health through holistic approaches. She previously worked in patient experience research, which involved collection and analysis of patient feedback data from a variety of healthcare settings. She also worked in the charity sector doing analysis and communication of population health statistics.
Sarah is undertaking research with the UCL Legal Advice Clinic at the Guttmann Health and Wellbeing Centre in Stratford, East London. The project is exploring the potential health impacts of free legal advice provided in a primary care setting. The research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods, and contributes to the development of a stronger evidence base on the value of integrated health and legal services in the community.
