Shiva Riahi joined the Faculty in November 2012 as a Research Assistant for the UCL Judicial Institute and the UCL Centre for Access to Justice. She was promoted to Centre Manager in 2014 and is now the Centre’s Head of Projects. She holds an LLB from UCL as well as a BA in Philosophy and International Relations from Tufts University.
As Head of Projects, Shiva oversees the Faculty’s Pro Bono Programme, organises the Access to Justice Summer School, and manages the day to day running of the Centre for Access to Justice.
As a graduate of the UCL Faculty of Laws, Shiva was part of the Access to Justice and Community Engagement course pilot year where she undertook casework with Just for Kids Law.
Her primary research interests include legal needs and the impact on health, issues relating to access to justice, equality & anti-discrimination, and diversity.
